About these terms
These terms apply whenever you book an appointment, visit either salon, or use this website. By booking with Wax Me Up, you agree to them. Wax Me Up operates salons in Amsterdam (Kinkerstraat 363, 1053 NX Amsterdam) and Haarlem (Generaal Cronjéstraat 107, 2021 JD Haarlem).
Appointments and bookings
Appointments can be booked online through Salonized, by phone, or in person. Please provide accurate contact details when booking so we can reach you if needed. Arriving late may mean your treatment time is shortened to keep the rest of the day's schedule on track.
Cancellations and rescheduling
Our specific notice period and any cancellation fee are . Until confirmed, please give us as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule, by calling the salon directly.
Prices
Prices are shown in euros on our Services and Deal of the Week pages and may change at any time. The price confirmed when you book is the price that applies to your appointment.
Health and suitability
Waxing is not suitable for everyone. Please tell us before your appointment if you are pregnant, use retinoids or medications such as isotretinoin (Accutane), have recently had sun exposure, sunburn, or a chemical peel, or have a skin condition, infection, or open wound in the treatment area. We may need to adjust or decline a treatment for your safety.
Right to refuse service
We may decline or stop a treatment if it is not safe to continue, or refuse service in cases of abusive or inappropriate behaviour towards our staff.
Liability
We take care to deliver treatments safely and hygienically. To the extent permitted by law, Wax Me Up is not liable for reactions or complications arising from health information that was not disclosed to us before treatment.
